The Christmas countdown is on, and we’re sure you’ll agree the urge to spread festive joy is stronger than ever.

To make all things bright and beautiful, we’ve put together some fabulous Christmas style ideas for your bedroom. From an all-white spectacular to a woody winter wonderland, plus luxury jewel tones and handmade touches, we believe there’s a style for everyone. And if you’ve never had a Christmas tree in your bedroom, we say 2023 is the year to do it. Not convinced? Allow us…

A seasonal staycation

Whether you’re staying in a cosy log cabin or contemporary Airbnb, there are plenty of ways to create a Christmassy home away from home.

If that’s the case, why not spend some time handmaking some Christmas decorations to hang in your accommodation? A few trinkets can go a long way – just look at our low-maintenance festive bedroom above, complete with the Northwood bed. Utilising lighting, such as hanging lights and lanterns, instantly transforms a coastal-inspired space into an effortlessly festive roomscape.

Just a couple of yuletide pieces can really transform your retreat into a homely and cosy one. Making homemade Christmas decorations is also a great activity for families with young children, particularly on chilly evenings by the fire. Check out this DIY Christmas decorations article for lots of ideas, from popsicle stick snowflakes to marbled baubles and more.

Regal jewel tones

For a contemporary take on Christmas cheer, add a splash of dark mystery with opulent jewel hues.

For those amongst us who prefer to steer clear of traditional red and green, choosing darker tones of navy and green will give you a refined finish with plenty of festive spirit. Classic blue pairs exceptionally well with icy white, whilst touches of green foliage add a soft natural look, particularly when bathed in the gentle glow of lamplight.

We simply adore our Jay bed, styled with pops of gold, green and earthy brown accents. Its discreet under-bed storage is the perfect place to stash those pesky Christmas presents before the big day, too! Winter wonderland

The neutral tone of our natural Deacon bed frame is ideal for an all-white winter wonderland theme.

We’ve styled it with textured throws and cushions for a cosy Christmas feel and made a statement with a stylish white wreath above the headboard. From the Christmas tree and baubles to the candles and stars, the white and metallic colours tie this look together for the perfect winter extravaganza.

Layers of texture, with soft carpet and fluffy rugs (not forgetting the sumptuously upholstered bed frame), create a cosy space you can’t wait to get comfy in. Just be careful not to spill your hot chocolate…

Contemporary classic

The perfect choice for a modern take on traditional décor, we’ve placed our grey Detroit bed frame in a contemporary bedroom with geometric touches and honey tones.

The hanging star lanterns make a seasonal statement, while the mini Christmas tree is quaint but low maintenance with just a string of baubles at the base. For an extra special touch, check out the gift wrap on the presents. Dried orange slices and foliage are an eco-friendly option that’s oh-so charming, adding a festive scent to the bedroom that’ll take you instantly back to winter walks and white Christmases.

The warm earthy tones of this room give a nod to traditional festive gold, with a dose of contemporary style that makes it a fantastic all-season solution.
