What age are high sleeper beds suitable for?

Children’s loft beds are suitable for six years and upwards. Due to their height and versatility, pre-teens and teenagers tend to love these beds, as they can make the most of the space underneath. Most high beds are between 175cm and 190cm tall and have a ladder, so it’s always a good idea to make sure your child can climb up safely and sit up straight in bed without touching the ceiling before you invest in one.

Are high sleeper beds safe?

Yes, absolutely. When it comes to the safety of our high desk beds, all our designs have been tested to meet safety regulations to make sure they are child friendly. Our range is compatible with standard single mattresses and they should be a maximum of 15cm deep, so it sits lower than the frame to ensure the guard rails are at a safe height. Note, that you should always check the specifications of each loft bed and mattress.
