What type of spring mattress is best?

Open coil mattresses are the most traditional manufacturing methods, meaning these can be produced at low production costs and are perfect for those on a budget. Traditional spring mattresses also have more ‘give’, are lighter and easier to turn.

Pocket sprung mattresses offer more support than open spring. Compared to open coil’s 300 springs, a sprung mattress can vary from 600-5,000 springs and the higher the spring count, the better the support. Sprung mattresses also have individually wrapped springs that all work independently to support your body, which is ideal for those who share a bed as it reduces that feeling of rolling into each other.

What size spring mattresses are available?

Our spring mattresses are available in every size, from cot or toddler size to a super king size. Our standard single spring mattress is 3’0 wide, and a standard double spring mattress is 4’6 wide. All our open spring mattresses are 190cm in length, except the king and super king spring mattresses which are 200cm long. All traditional spring mattresses are made by quality manufacturers using the best materials and fabrics, so you know you’re getting an excellent product.
