Tempur

Born from NASA technology, perfected for sleep

Tempur® began in the 1970s, when NASA scientists invented a pressure-relieving material for astronaut seats. Years of careful engineering later, it became the world's first viscoelastic memory foam, moulding precisely to your body's shape and weight. Tempur is the only mattress brand recognised by NASA and certified by the Space Foundation, still using that same science today across the full range of mattresses, beds, bedding and pillows. What is special about Tempur mattresses?

Tempur mattresses are made from a unique viscoelastic foam that moulds to your unique shape and body heat. It absorbs movement, reducing partner disturbance during the night, and it's designed to relieve pressure points for genuinely restful sleep.

How long does a Tempur mattress last?

A Tempur mattress is built to last, often 8 to 10 years or more with the right care. However, how long your Tempur mattress lasts depends on how it's used, turned and looked after. Every Tempur product we sell also comes with a 10-year guarantee for extra peace of mind.

How much is a Tempur mattress?

Prices vary depending on size, firmness and collection, from Pro Air through to Sensory. Tempur mattresses are an investment for your sleep, especially if you’re looking for pressure relief that lasts. They sit at a higher price point than standard foam, but the quality and 10-year guarantee back that up.

Tempur beds

Tempur beds bring that same body-mapping comfort to the base as well as the mattress on top. The adjustable Ergo range lets you change position at the touch of a button, handy for reading, preventing snoring or just finding the most comfortable angle. The Arc and Sensory beds bring striking design with the same considered support, in single through to super king sizes.

Tempur pillows

Every Tempur pillow supports your head and neck the way a Tempur mattress supports your body, moulding to your shape. The Tempur Cloud pillows offer a softer, more traditional feel, while the Tempur SmartCool pillow helps maintain a cool, comfortable temperature. Ergonomic shapes are also available for extra neck support, and our full range of Tempur pillows comes in a choice of firmness levels to suit the way you sleep.

Tempur mattress toppers

A Tempur mattress topper is the easiest way to bring that pressure-relieving comfort to your existing sleep setup. Simply lay it over your existing mattress for an extra layer of support and softness, without the cost of a whole new mattress. It's a popular choice for anyone who loves the Tempur feel but isn't ready to commit fully.

Tempur bedding

Tempur bedding is designed to work with your mattress, not against it. A Tempur mattress protector keeps things clean and waterproof without trapping heat, thanks to breathable natural fibres. Pair it with a Tempur duvet for bedding that feels as considered as the mattress underneath.
