Autumn and Winter Duvets
The nights are getting longer and colder, but that means snuggling up in bed with hot drinks under a thick duvet. Our autumn and winter duvets are 10 tog to 15 tog, they'll keep you warm and cosy even on the coldest nights.
What tog do you need for autumn and winter?
The tog rating refers to how well the duvet retains its heat and therefore, insulates you. For most duvets, the highest tog rating you will find is 15, which is extra cosy and will keep you toasty no matter how chilly it gets outside.
The right tog rating for you depends on a few factors such as how warm you get during the night and if you have the heating on overnight. While being cold can interrupt your sleep, you also don’t want to get too warm. One option is to combine a lower tog duvet with other winter bedding like an electric blanket. So you'll be comfortable during the mild autumn nights but can turn up the heat as it gets bitter.
Winter Duvet Sizes
Our winter duvet range comes in all standard mattress sizes. Whether you need a cosy single or sumptuous 15 tog king-sized duvet, here you can find the right one for you. If you want to keep as much heat in as possible while you sleep, try sizing up your winter duvet. This means there will be more overhang and you're less likely to let cold air in or expose your toes during the night!
Winter Duvet Fillings
As well as tog rating, the material and filling of your duvet will make a massive difference in how warm it keeps you. Natural fibres are great for all-year-round temperature regulation, while synthetic fibres are ideal for sleepers with allergies or asthma.
Microfibre Winter Duvets
Our synthetic duvets are stuffed with hollow fibre, which is great at insulating as the fibres are thicker and easily trap heat. The duvet covers are made from microfibres, so super soft and silky to the touch. A dreamy combination for staying snuggly all night long.
Down Winter Duvets
Luxurious and fluffy, our down winter duvets are filled with duck feather and down, and covered with 100% cotton. Natural fibres are perfect for temperature regulation and sweat-wicking to keep you comfortable while you sleep. Lightweight yet cuddly, a down-filled winter duvet is a true indulgence.
