Management Team

Mike Logue, CEO

Mike joined Dreams in August 2013, after 18 months working as the UK Managing Director at Mothercare. Here he developed the ‘Transformation and Growth’ plan, a three-year strategy to return Mothercare UK to profit. Prior to this, Mike was the Commercial Director at Asda, Managing Director at Gamestation, Director of Operations at Phones4u and held various operational roles at Marks and Spencer throughout the UK and Hong Kong.

Kim Zaheer, CFO

Kim joined Dreams in September 2008 as its Head of Finance, and was appointed Dreams’ CFO in September 2012. Kim briefly served as Dreams’ interim CEO between June 2013 and September 2013. Before joining Dreams, Kim held senior roles at Tesco. As a qualified chartered accountant, Kim has also worked at WH Smith and Ernst & Young.

Lisa Bond, Marketing & Ecommerce Director

Lisa joined Dreams in January 2014 as its Marketing and Ecommerce Director. Lisa has worked as a Marketing Director across multiple retailers, including La Senza, Peacocks and Boux Avenue. Before this, Lisa was the Vice President Communications at Universal Music International, and Head of Public Relations at Camelot Group.

Jeremy Gerken, Operations Director

Jeremy joined Dreams at the start of 2014 as its Operations Director. Prior to this, Jeremy was the Head of Property and Central Operations at Screwfix for three years, and the Operations Director and Joint MD of Gamestation for nearly six years.

Linda Meade, Human Resources & Customer Service Director

Linda joined Dreams in November 2013 as part of the new management team. Linda has had a wealth of retail and HR experience extending over 25 years, including six years as Mothercare’s Director of HR. Prior to this, Linda held HR roles at Argos, Rank Hovis McDougall and BHS.

Brian McCarthy, Logistics Director

Brian joined Dreams as its Logistics Director in 2015, bringing with him over 20 years’ experience in the logistics industry. This included ten years at Home Retail Group where he oversaw a successful delivery division, which made over £8m deliveries annually. Brian also worked for retailers including Marks and Spencer, House of Fraser, and Asda whilst at Christian Salvesen.

Jonathan Hirst, Commercial and Manufacturing Director

Jonathan joined Dreams in January 2014 with accountability for buying, merchandising and manufacturing areas. He previously worked as Category Director for B&Q, leading their big ticket bathrooms product group. Prior to this he spent 11 years in electrical retail with Dixons Group, holding senior commercial roles including Group Head of Format Development and Category Director for the Services business.
