Adjustable Beds
Adjustable beds help those with sore joints, mobility issues, and other ailments to find a comfy sleeping position. Our adjustable electric beds, with exclusive Sleepmotion technology, allow you to elevate and recline at the touch of a button, providing optimal support and aiding in alleviating discomfort, paving the way for a restful night's sleep.
The benefits of adjustable beds
Our adjustable beds, otherwise known as electric beds, mobility beds, or reclining beds, with our innovative Sleepmotion technology, are more than just a bed. They can help with a wide range of health issues and ailments and come with a huge range of benefits:
- They allow you to elevate your legs to improve blood circulation.
- The Zero Gravity technology minimises the pressure that causes aches and pains caused by your natural sleeping style.
- By elevating your head slightly you can open up your airways and limit the vibrations that cause snoring.
- The electric mechanism allows you to effortlessly adjust the height and angle of your bed to find a position that's most comfortable for you, improving your sleep quality.
- They can also make getting in and out of bed easier as you use the adjustable settings to raise the mattress up and down.
Plus, nowadays, electric adjustable beds can be as stylish as any other frame. These beds are available in a variety of styles and materials, so if you need an adjustable bed for your health, it won't ruin your décor. In fact, there are many affordable electric beds, as well as those that will make a statement in the bedroom.
What exactly is Sleepmotion?
With a little research, we realised that more than two-thirds of British adults aren't getting enough quality sleep. So, we created Sleepmotion technology to help people get the personalised sleep experience they need to feel refreshed in the morning. It includes customisable positions and Zero Gravity technology that alleviates pressure points and makes you feel weightless.
What size adjustable beds are available?
In our range of adjustable beds, you'll find every size from single adjustable beds to double to super king adjustable beds. Whether you are looking for a frame to accommodate one person or an elderly couple, each mobility bed helps with the aches and pains of later life or disabilities. Adjustable mattresses to choose from
Choosing a mattress to go with your adjustable bed is especially important. You'll need a mattress that won't be damaged by all the moving around and is still comfortable for your joints. There are two mattress types we recommend for this:
In pocket sprung mattresses, each spring is contained in its own pouch and works individually to react to your body shape. These mattresses spread your weight out evenly, reducing pressure on your joints and providing excellent support.
Memory foam mattresses mould to the shape of your body so you feel like you're sleeping on a cloud. These are ideal for those who require less intensive support for back problems but still need an adjustable bed for mobility reasons.
