Stylish Bed Linen For Spring, From Dreams
The Spring range of bed linen and accessories from Dreams is the perfect way to instantly bring a fresh and stylish new look to a bedroom. Dreams may be Britain’s biggest bed specialist, but it’s also the place to find a fantastic range of bed linen and accessories to suit any style of home. And, with the latest designs in-store, Dreams is firmly on-trend for Spring.
Whether your bedroom is in a light-filled penthouse apartment, an Edwardian semi, a modern family home or a country cottage, you’ll find the perfect bed linen at Dreams - from crisp stripes and delicate florals to sleek contemporary designs – and all at prices that won’t break the bank.

Flower Power
Florals are definitely big for Spring, and Dreams’ new Hydrangea duvet set would be perfectly at home in almost any bedroom. Created using a unique embroidery technique in subtle shades of sage green and chocolate, on pure white cotton percale, it is restrained, elegant and fresh. And the matching bedspread and cushions add an opulent finishing touch.
For a sophisticated take on country floral, the Belladonna duvet set, in muted heather and grey tones, has a real sense of style, particularly when combined with the Provencale Matlasse bedspread. And Dreams’ Linenfields duvet set – featuring a subtle woven flower jacquard in a natural shade - combines colour minimalism with luxurious texture, in a cotton/linen blend fabric that drapes beautifully and is incredible soft and cool against the skin.

Spots, Checks and Stripes Appeal
Spots, checks and stripes are a great way to give a fresh feel to a bedroom, and Dreams has designer looks to die for. From the white-on-white elegance of the jacquard weave Stirling duvet set (set off to perfection by the grey and ivory check Shetland throw) to the classic French-style soft blue and white stripes and material-covered buttons of the all-cotton Forget Me Not set, Dreams is the place to go for Spring stripes. And if your taste is for more exotic colourways, the Eva design, with its wide, rich chocolate and red or chocolate and teal stripes in a luxurious jacquard weave, is a contemporary styling option.

Reduce Some Of That Teenage Exam Stress With A Great Night’s Sleep From Dreams
With GCSE and A-level pressure it’s a trying time for Britain’s teenagers. Compound the stress of revision with the extra brain stimulus of late-night online chatting to friends, or surfing the web and it’s no surprise that many teenagers aren’t getting the sleep they need.
This can lead to real problems at exam time. Students can lack the attention span necessary for effective revision and are just too tired to focus properly in the examination hall. And worrying that they’re not getting enough sleep only adds to the stress – it’s a vicious circle.
One way that parents could help their children through what for many can be a traumatic time is to ensure that they have every opportunity of getting a great night’s sleep. The most critical element is the mattress. Many teenagers may still be sleeping on beds that they have had since they were small children – and an elderly mattress that was comfortable for a five year old just won’t be restful enough for someone several years older and many kilos heavier.
Dreams’ CEO, Nick Worthington points out: “Replacing an old mattress that has seen a child through from toddler to teens with one that will provide both comfort and posture support as they grow into adulthood is a really good investment in a child’s future. At Dreams we have over 25 years of experience in matching mattresses to customers of all ages – and as one of the UK’s largest bed manufacturers, we really understand how the structure of the different types of mattress suit different needs.”
Dreams, Britain’s biggest bed and bedroom retailer, is the place to go for a wide range of divan beds and mattresses, offering everything from traditional open spring and pocket spring to high-tech memory foam and latex. All Dreams’ sales consultants go through the company’s own training academy before even stepping foot in-store, so expert advice and guidance is always on hand.
Once the mattress question is sorted, Dreams can also offer a solution to that age-old problem of teenagers’ very definite opinions on style, with a range of bedsteads in designs to suit any teenage taste. The glossy silver Ohio Futon Bunk Bed with its cheerful yellow futon sofa provides the ideal place for revision, whilst converting instantly into a guest bed for when friends stay over. And the stylish Metz bedstead should be sufficiently ‘on trend’ for even the pickiest of teen.

For teenage girls with romantic tastes, the pretty Jasmine metal bedstead (available in pink or white) offers masses of charm – and masses of storage space underneath. And the Scandinavian-inspired clean lines of the Metz painted wooden bedstead should provide an elegant distraction from all that teenage clutter.

Dreams know a thing or two about sleep, and it also recommends that – just as they did when they were babies – teenagers have a bedtime routine. Cutting down on caffeine can help, as can not eating for a couple of hours before bedtime. One other key factor is to avoid too much mental stimulation before bed, so switching off the TV and computer and allowing the brain to wind down really is a good move.
Dreams Brings A Great Night’s Sleep To Exeter - And New Jobs To The Region
With the opening of Dreams’ huge new 10,500 sq. ft. store in Exeter – just weeks after Dreams Torquay opened - Britain’s biggest bed and bedroom furniture retailer has reinforced its presence in the South West.
Dreams is investing over £1m in the region; a new store will open in Truro in the next couple of months, with more openings planned for later this year - all part of Dreams’ commitment to bringing dream beds – and a great night’s sleep - within easy reach of every customer.
The new store in Rydon Lane Retail Park, Digby Road will employ four staff, but over the next two years Dream’s South West expansion could create over 200 new jobs in the region, including delivery drivers and office staff, as well as store managers and sales consultants. The Exeter store will be serviced by Dreams’ Andover Home Delivery Depot (HDD), but plans are in the pipeline to open an HDD within the region – significantly contributing towards the new jobs for the area.
Commenting on the opening of Dreams’ Exeter store, Nick Worthington, CEO of Dreams, said: “With the South West being the focus of our 2011 expansion plan, it’s only fitting that we have a store in Devon’s historic county town.”
Dreams Opens New Bedroom Store In Bury
Dreams have opened a new store in Bury. The opening of the new 9,400 sq. ft. store in Hope Mills retail park in Foundry Street, which will employ four staff, is part of Dreams’ continued investment in the region and the leading bed and bedroom furniture retailer’s commitment to bringing a great night’s sleep within easy reach of customers in the area.
With its open-air market and easy commute to Manchester via the Metrolink tram system, Bury has seen its popularity – and population levels – increase in recent years, so it’s not surprising that Dreams has chosen to open a store in the town.
Commenting on the opening of Dreams in Foundry Street, Nick Worthington, CEO of Dreams, said: “We are already well represented in this area, with existing stores in Oldham, Rochdale, Manchester and Salford. However, this is a highly-populated area, so the addition of the Bury store gives customers in the region an even bigger choice of convenient locations in which to find their dream bed, plus help reduce drive times on busy roads.”
Dreams Introduces Exclusive Zen Collection
Dreams’ new Zen bed collection – the perfect way to get a great night’s sleep

With over 25 years of experience, nobody knows more about getting a great night’s sleep than Dreams, Britain’s leading bed specialist. And now Dreams has introduced Zen; a British-built range of high-quality beds designed to deliver a deep, truly energizing night’s sleep.
Inspired by the concept of Zen - a total state of focus that incorporates a togetherness of body and mind, bringing inner peace – this ‘ultimate sleeping collection’ comprises four different models: Energise, Revitalise, Refresh, and Rejuvenate.
Each features luxurious pocketed spring systems which contour perfectly to the shape of the body, providing independent support for each occupant. The springs are overlaid with Natural Talalay Latex, gathered from mature rubber trees and blended into a responsive material that provides luxury and comfort. It also enables the beds to instantly mould themselves to the sleeper’s body contours, changing shape as they move, ensuring a perfect sleeping posture throughout the night.
The supremely comfortable and supportive mattresses feature three rows of side stitching and soft touch Belgian knitted fabric covers for a more luxurious feel and contemporary look. On the practical side, they have handles for manoeuvrability and vents to improve air circulation. A smart, quilted textured base matches the mattress borders and features twin-wheeled castors for ease of movement. Storage options include one and two large easy glide beech drawers.
Energise and Revitalise each feature 1400 pocket springs and micro-quilted mattresses for enhanced surface comfort. Refresh offers 1600 pocket springs and a plush micro-quilted pillow top, while the top-of-the-range Rejuvenate has 2400 pocket springs, deep layers of upholstery for a sumptuous feel and a luxurious quilted soft-touch pillow top for added comfort.
