Providing the environment to succeed
At Dreams we are continually working to create an environment where every employee feels that they truly belong. Here are just a few of the things that we do to ensure this happens.
  • At Dreams, people's views and opinions are encouraged, valued and listened to
  • In a retail business such as ours, we believe it is vital to get regular input from all our employees, especially our sales consultants and home delivery ambassadors: the people who come into direct contact with our customers every day
  • We carry out performance reviews up to four times a year to discuss individual performance and recognise contribution. This is a great opportunity to exchange positive and constructive feedback, and discuss employees’ development goals
  • To ensure that our head office departments are supporting our branches we have a ‘Retail Buddy System’. This gives our sales consultants one point of contact that will ensure stores have everything they need to deliver to our customers
  • We value our people's feedback. Our regular Staff Liaison sessions give Dream Team members even more opportunities to exchange ideas and feedback
  • Our internal magazine, Between the Sheets, keeps everyone up-to-date with what's happening
  • At Dreams we encourage people to develop a sense of ownership in what they do, so that they feel empowered to achieve results above the norm
