At Dreams we are committed to the continuous training and development of all our employees.

We want our people to enjoy their work and feel that they have all the skills they need to do their job to the best of their ability, so we support everyone through in-depth training and regular assessment of their development needs.


Induction programme

New colleagues go on a comprehensive induction programme that encourages individuals to monitor their own development in line with the business needs.

If your new role is in Retail or Distribution you will attend our Academy of Dreams based in Wednesbury or Warrington. If you join Head Office, you'll receive an induction that will help you settle into your team, give you a feel for what your role will involve and leave you feeling inspired and excited about your career.


Development at all levels

Training is delivered throughout the business at all levels and across a wide range of areas, including management skills, communications, health and safety, customer service and traditional manufacturing techniques.

We have a dedicated training team to ensure we always have a comprehensive range of tools to help our people manage their development. We also encourage people to develop their skills and knowledge outside the business through our Dreams Foundation Degree. We work closely with Bucks New University to help individuals develop management skills in all areas of the business or work towards NVQ’s to help individuals understand and develop in their roles.
