We don’t just think green.

We dream green. And we’ve already made those dreams a reality, by investing in a state-of-the art bed and mattress recycling facility at our distribution centres. Our bed shredders are the first of their kind in the UK – designed especially to crush and shred beds and mattresses into their separate parts, ready for recycling.

Dreaming green since 1995

We’re really proud to be doing our bit for our planet. But this isn’t a new development. We’ve been recycling since 1995, and in the last year alone we’ve recycled a staggering 55,000 beds and mattresses!

We’ve melted down metal to make new products; transformed wooden frames into mulch, chips and chipboard; turned fabric cut-offs into insulation, and made sure all our paper, cardboard and plastic packaging is used again and again. It’s commitment like this that’s made us retail recycler of the year – a green dream come true!
