Just bought this bed for my 3 yr old, with the view that she will have it for many years. It looks nice, but my daughters daddy (who is a carpenter and very good with this kind of thing) had trouble getting it built! Once he'd made the first unit, which took ages to build, he found the rest a lot easier, but it still took a fair while to build!
Once fully built, I realised you have a cupboard behind the headboard, which is completely wasted! Don't know why it's even there! A waste! I thought we must have put it up wrong, as surely there wouldn't be a cupboard there, if you can't even get to it, but looking at the picture... that's how it is!? Nevermind!
Build quality seems fine to be honest (so far). My daughter loves it.. Lots of space for bits and bobs! She looks so grown up in it!
All in all, service received wasn't great! The mattress supplied, was too big for the bed! The delivery didn't go to plan either! The driver that dropped the bed off, turned up 2 hours early, when no one in, left packages in outbuilding. He promised we'd have no trouble getting it all upstairs, between my mum and me! When arriving home, I found 3 boxes weighed 20 kg each!!! NOT easy for us to get upstairs! Delivery for Mattress was fine.
On a good note, however, Customer service did agree to refund delivery charge, and replace mattress with one that fit! I haven't got the refund yet, but hoping to sort tomorrow. New mattress due next week.
Fingers crossed everything will all be ok with the bed from now on!

I bought 2 of these as have 2 kids the biggest mistake I've made, they have fallen apart in about a year the cupboard doors all fall off all the time the drawers under the bed have broken even though they didn't have a lot in. You pay for what you get, was very disappointed in this purchase and have never seen anything so flimsy

Flimsy and poor design but does look good !
We bought this for my sons bedroom over 5 months ago now. It arrived flat pack, which is fine and was fairly straightforward to assemble if you've done flat pack before. However it is very flimsy and very cheap quality and you need to be very careful when assembling it. One of the dowels which obviously wasn't pushed fully home when we inserted it, burst through the side of one of the shelving units and also on the bed base end, even though we thought we were being very careful, having had it happen already once! The quality of the material the units and bed is made of is very thin, and not very dense composite material which you need to be extremely careful you don't break off or knock a corner when you are moving the pieces around. The bed base that the mattress sits on is a joke - it is just one poor quality flat sheet of composite wood (?) and was already bending before we even put it on the bed and the bracing for it is completely inadequate, so we added lots of bracing struts to the base to make it sturdy. The handles on the drawers are such flimsy plastic they bend! The bed drawer bases are so flimsy you couldn't actually use them, so again we spent time bracing these with better quality wood. The design of the way the units and bed sit together is not great - there is a big hole where the two units meet in the corner that stuff can fall down and is then impossible to get out again. The bed also just rests next to the units, it is not held together, so stuff falls down between the bed and the units and then ends up lost under the bed. Saying all that, once assembled it does look nice and my son is pleased with it. After nearly 6 months, despite my concerns regarding the quality, plus with all the extra modifications we made to make it more robust, it is still in one piece and still looking good which is why it has two stars rather than just one.
